The notion of "I" is a form of discrimination. We try to understand the world and ourselves through our discrimination. Because of the ego, our opinions, comparisons are formed from our perspective and fixed; consequently we discriminate. We lose flexibility, because we refuse to accept other perspectives. When we have a fixed identify, we live in a world of discrimination. ¶ by Zen Master Miao Tsan
