Student: What is happiness that comes from within? Master: If we have happiness comes from within, we call it "Dharma Joy". That is the joy comes from within. There are different type of happiness. As a human being, we are all in the same base, our mind can generate all types of thoughts and all type of feelings. We depend on some phenomenon or material things, and then we will feel happy. This is the happiness related to material, which means this type of happiness comes with conditions. Without conditions, we can have our mind generate one single thought related to happiness that means happiness within.

In everything we do the "I" always comes first - consciously or unconsciously. The greatest arrogance is when we think we are beyond the "I" yet we are not. Thank you for this reminder!

This is very true. Habit, ego, arrogance always come into the play. I sincerely repent everything I did that might hurt anyone, any beings in this life, in past lives.

You are right. We all become accustomed to living our lives with a degree of arrogance because we believe this is necessary to achieve success. But if we look deep in our hearts of the hurt we have done to others, we realize that the arrogance has kept us from the ultimate happiness.
